One Year Later

It has been a year since I started this fitness journey in earnest and boy have I learned a lot about myself. I find myself once again at the Susan G Komen 3-Day. This event is so inspirational as I see supporters and survivors putting out everything they have and walking 60 miles to find a cure for breast cancer. I am lucky enough the part of the support crew and being on this is just as amazing.

This year I have fought my own battles With depression and anxiety as well as my physical struggle with my shoulder. Yet, I still consider this year a success. I found a new passion in teaching others about health and fitness as I learn more myself. I am emotional well again and found power and my voice through therapy. I have changed my eating habits to a more ok t based and less processed plan that makes me feel less bloated and sluggish. I have completed several Beachbody programs and am looking forward to staring again once cleared to lift weights.

I may not have met my weight loss goal, yet, but I have found so much more self love and happiness than I ever expected. Here’s to the next years journey! Cheers!
